THEME: TEXTURE
Pretty much everything has some sort of texture to it, and a recent trend in photography has been texturizing images. Even without the purpose of overlaying textures on images, its a beautiful thing in and of itself. These images have so much detail, symmetry and randomness all in the same image.
Go start taking pics of textures (rocks, sand, walls, carpeting, trees, etc.). If you’re even more ambitious, in addition to the texture itself, send in an image that you used the texture(s) on! Get your entries into challenge(at)natemathai(dot)com by the end of the month, and happy shooting!
*as a side note, all these images were taken with my iPhone with no processing other than my standard blog resize/sharpening action
