THEME: Self-Portrait
As photographers, we tend to always be on one side of the camera. Occasionally, its good to get on the other side. Especially for professionals, I think its extremely important to be more than just a name and have a recognizable face for your clients (whatever profession you are in). For me, I’m more than just a photographer taking their picture, but I want to be a friend, a personality, a character…a real being to relate to.
It’s also extremely beneficial to learn how it feels on the other side of the camera - I’ve taken thousands of pictures in the past few months of other people, and turnabout is fair play. So let me see who you all are! Get creative too! Maybe include an element that depicts who you are. Again, not just you standard snapshot…really think. Looking forward to “getting to know” you guys a bit more!
