Rejani + Lejoe : modern events {indian creek, il}

To end of last year’s shoots, I had the honor of capturing the formal engagement ceremony of Rejani and Lejoe, in Indian Creek, Illinois. Rejani is from Baltimore, and it was awesome to see both families come together to celebrate their plans for marriage. I started out at Lejoe’s house for a quick prayer before the ceremony.
We then headed over to the beautiful St. Mary Of Vernon Catholic Church in Indian Creek, Illinois for the engagement ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed back to Lejoe’s house for a luncheon. They did an amazing job decorating their place!
I was able to steal the two of them away for about 5 minutes for a mini-shoot, and we made the most of it!
Lejoe and Rejani, thanks for letting me serve you guys during your engagement. I wish you all the best as you prepare for the wedding day this year, and married life from then on!

Rejani + Lejoe : modern events {teaser}

Rejani and Lejoe were a great couple to end the 2009 season with. They had an engagement ceremony at the beautiful St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church in Indian Creek, Illinois followed by a small reception at his house in Gurnee, Illinois. Alyssa’s Baptism : modern portraits {Lombard, IL}

It’s crazy to see life progress. Alan and Jane were the first couple I ever shot an e-session for a few years back, and now they were welcoming their first child into the world. It was an honor for me to be able to document the baptism of baby Alyssa for them.
The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Thomas Mar Thomas Church in Lombard, IL
They had a small reception afterwards as well.

Alphy + Sony : E-Session (teaser)

This past Saturday, I spent the day with Alphy and Sony shooting their formal engagement ceremony during the day followed by their e-session. It was such a fun day from start to finish, and we were blessed with beautiful weather in Chicago finally! Here’s a little tease from their e-session that afternoon.
