Jeanne + Phil : E-Session {Chicago, IL}
- June 2, 2009 -
I shot the e-session of Jeanne and Phil a little while back, and like most of my recent shoots there was a threat of rain that wasn’t fulfilled (phew!). Jeanne flew out from Cali so we wanted to make sure we got the shoot in while she was in town, and luckily (outside of a cold breeze as the night progressed) we were blessed with great weather. These two have been doing the ‘long distance’ thing for awhile, and I always have much respect for that because it’s a tough thing when you don’t see your fiancee all the time- but you could obviously tell the distance truly made the heart grow fonder for these two.
We met up at Millenium Park in downtown, Chicago, and made our way around the area.

This shot makes me smile everytime I see it :)

Love it!

I loved the lines in the Pritzker Pavilion…

The storefronts in downtown are always beautifully lit – and Phil was pretty interested in trying to get some new outfits too!

We ended the night with none other than this BALLER shot! :) I must say – the skyline in Chicago looks good from wherever you shoot.

Phil, I’m glad we got to give you a bit of Chicago to take with you to Cali. Congratulations to both of you, and good luck with all the planning for the upcoming engagement ceremony, and more importantly the wedding in September!

aleyamma: 2nd to last shot (stairs) is awesome. Composition, color, smoothness (i know that's not technical, but it is what it is)...
